Service Learning Forms Collection

All students at Skyline are encouraged to participate in this optional PTSA program to build up their volunteer hours, with Freshmen eligible to start earning volunteer hours after 8th grade promotion. In order to earn the service learning cord at graduation, students must submit records of having volunteered at least 100 hours over the course of their four years of high school.

Our next in-person collection date is coming up on April 5th (Friday) in the SHS commons area (by the main doors) during both A and B lunches. Outside of this time, students are welcome to leave completed forms in the PTSA drawer in the College & Career Center, which will be collected occasionally between in-person pickups. Students are advised to keep copies of all forms submitted as backup.  Seniors - be sure to turn in your completed forms before end of March in order to receive service cords.

Email servicelearning@skylineptsa.org with questions.  Thank you, Skyline parents, for joining the PTSA! Your donations help fund this and other PTSA programs that support Skyline students and staff.

What’s The Difference Between PTSA, ASB, and ISF?

The Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA), Associated Student Body (ASB), and Issaquah Schools Foundation (ISF) are three separate but complementary organizations which provide a variety of support to multiple programs at Skyline. While each school has its own PTSA and ASB, the ISF supports all schools district-wide.

Associated Student Body - comprised of all SHS students who purchase ID cards in the fall; students vote on peer representatives to govern and provide leadership through school events.
501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides district-wide programs supporting opportunities for every student at every school.
What is their primary focus?
