SERVICE LEARNING

The FINAL Service Learning Hour turn in date for the current school year is April 2nd during lunch in the lower Commons. Look for the ladies sitting at the table in front of the school’s main doors.  Qualifying NHS, Key Club and IB CAS volunteer hours count towards the 100 required hours. However, the STUDENT needs to submit the paperwork in person at lunch (during collection dates) or in the white drawer in the C&C Center. Forms placed in the drawer are left at the student’s risk. Students should make copies of all forms they turn in.

SENIORS have until April 2nd, 12:50pm to submit their paperwork showing they have completed 100 Community Service Hours, to earn a cord to wear during their graduation ceremony.

As of March 5, 79 current Seniors have qualified for the Service Learning Cord. Email sandi.dong@outlook.com to find out your student’s status.

Cords are gifted from Skyline PTSA to the students who qualify. The plan is for cords to be picked up (from a table) when Seniors pick up their graduation gowns (last part of May). Thank you for supporting Skyline PTSA.

The FINAL date to turn in paperwork for SENIORS is April 2 DURING LUNCH.Seniors who submit paperwork after this deadline are not guaranteed a cord. This deadline does not apply to Freshman, Sophomore and Juniors, they have until April of their graduation year to complete 100 community service hours and submit forms.

2018-2019 will be my final year with the Service Learning program. If YOU want to see the program continue, volunteer ?? Email sandi.dong@outlook.com for information.
